Can you please attach a photo of it? Was there any injury of this area?

Very often in this location pylonidal cyst appears. This condition is caused by an ingrown hair which irritates tissues. Some discharge can appear as well.

But its really hard to tell not seeing it.

I cant recall bruising myself

This is a pilonidal cyst.

It looks like a pilonidal cyst. Its not a bruise. I suggest you to consult general surgeon. It should be removed. Otherwise can become infected and turn into an abscess.
