What Causes A Blister And Sharp Pain In The Toe After An Accident?

Question: Hello

I stepped on one of my kids toys just over a week ago and I think it pierced into my big toe because I did feel a sharp pain. No blood came out and I wasn't sure if it actually pierced my toe so I didn't wash it.

Now for the past 4 days, my toe hurts me and there is a small bump wherever I felt the pain as if its a deep blister. There is a small bump and it is a little hard whenever I touch it. My toe or foot doesn't seem to be swollen, it seems to be only localized in that spot. It hurts with walking.

I'm covering it with a bandage during the day after applying polysporin hoping that it will drain and puss will come out but my skin there is thick and I don't think it will drain. what do you propose? I've attached some pictures.

Brief Answer:
Rub with pumice stone twice and apply polysporin

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I appreciate a very small pus lobule on the great toe. pus collection of such size will be defended by body immunity. So no worry.
I suggest to rub the area with pumice stone thinning it. it helps polysporin penetrate well and assist in better and quicker healing.
Do overrub it just two strokes would be enough.
Hope I answered. if you do not have any more questions please rate my answer.
