What Causes CRPS, Neuropathic And Back Pain And Right Shoulder Impingement Syndrome?
Question: Dr. Rynne,
Recently MMI with work-status form indicating permanently restricted from returning to work. WC and attorney are not following my Dr.'s recommendations and insist I return to work. My treating physician is Pain Management/Medical Director/Anesthesiology who has been treating me for the last 8 years. I have unpredictable CRPS flare ups, neuropathic pain, low back pain, right shoulder impingement syndrome, multiple surgeries. I have an intrathecal pump with lethal medications, a stimulator and lots of oral medications.
Question: Who's recommendations do I follow my dr. or WC and attorney?

WC will get a better job evaluation if not more money by your going back to work.
Pain Management/Anesthesiology only gets paid by doing things on/for/to you. And that likely works out better if you are disabled.
The attorney I cannot figure, generally they get money from you being disabled. Are they working for you or getting paid by someone else ?
And....
TAKE THE OPINION OF THE PHYSICAL THERAPIST because they get paid by you becoming more functional. They probably benefit more from your going back to work, but only if that works out for you.
