Brief Answer:
Not HIV Relax.Consult Physician for symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query.I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
The symptoms suggested like sore throat mouth ulcers etc are due to the flu which you have likely acquired from your partner.
Do not think of seroconversion at all which is most unlikely with negative tests.
You have undergone fourth generation tests which tests both antibodies and P24 antigen. It has high sensitivity of 99.8%. Also you have undergone other tests also at different times all are negative.
So you have to totally allay the fear of HIV
Consult physician for your symptoms and get appropriate treatment which are due to other causes.
You can get back to me for any clarifications .
Thank you

Thank you Dr. Her flu was in december and i met her in january our last encounter was feb 1 and i started getting symptoms on feb 20 and flu like illness came on march 5. Could she still have given me the flu two months after she got over it. And could the flu lead to gerds and white tongue with lesions on the side and white lining on inner cheek. Im still experiencing a lot of symptoms and it has been over 23 weeks. I just want to be sure my test are correct cause i have another girlfriend i dont want to get her infected when we decide to stop using condoms.

Brief Answer:
Flu may be from partner or from others.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.
The flu may be from the partner or else.
All tests at different times all are negative.
So you have to totally allay the fear of HIV.
GERD (gastro esophageal reflux disease) .that can be due to drugs intake or eating spicy or junk foods .eat small frequent meals. stop spicy junk oily foods.
you can take chewable or syrup antacids also H2 blockers like ranitidine.

the white lining or lesions may be due to Vitamin B deficiencies you can take B complex vitamin supplements.
Consult physician for your symptoms and get appropriate treatment which may be due to other causes.
You can use condoms if any of partners have multiple partners for preventing pregnancy and STDs.

I have consulted many physicians and they continue to just give me antibiotics (which probably caused the gerds). I also experienced weight loss, shortness of breath, vision blurry itchy hives. Could all this be due to anxiety or allergy. Ever since the exposure and the bout of the flu its been an ongoing thing with all kinds of symptoms..

I have had a sore throat for about a week and a half now and my sore throat alternates the sides of my throat. It is never at both sides. Also with the sore throat i am getting ear pain. If my sore throat is on the left side my ear pains are on the left side and sometimes with the sore throat and ear pain i will also get a slight headache on the same side also.

My father, age 78, is in excellent health and only takes medication for hypercholesterolemia (low 200 s). He recently started Erythromycin for head and chest congestion and sore throat. After taking this for a few days he had blood blisters erupt in his scalp and ears. His head felt a lot of pressure and he was worried he might be having a stroke. His neck and head were stiff with some numbness in his right arm. He DC d the antibiotic and went to his doctor, who placed him on Prednisone. Now he is a little groggy and isn t feeling well so he stopped the Prednisone. He sounds weak and we aren t sure why he was put on the Prednisone. My question is - why take Prednisone if the blisters are drying up? What is the benefit versus the risks?

I am writing about my 14 year old son, who has been ill repeatedly 4 times for the past 7 weeks. He s been on antibiotics all 4 times, struggles to recover until his antibiotics are nearly gone, finally feels better for a few days and then gets it again. We are wondering if it is valley fever. Can that come with congestion/sinus symptoms? He s been diagnosed with sinus infections each time, but develops not only significant congestion/sinus symtpoms, but also chest pain, horrible coughing, fatigue, sore throat, and is miserable. He has faithfully taken not only strong antibiotics, but prescription strength cough syrup/decongestant, Flonase nasal spray, Zyrtec once a day, and breathing treatments up to 4 times a day, along with vitamin C and lots of fluids. He is otherwise very healthy, but his doctor is concerned that perhaps it is not really sinus infections he has had. I cannot find on the internet where there is a connection between congestion/sinus symptoms and Valley Fever - curious about that as others have asked if he has been tested for it. We live in Phoenix. As a young child he had repeated ear infections, but 4 years ago at age 10 he had his tonsils and adenoids removed, tubes in his ears, and a major sinus surgery. He has been very healthy ever since until now. Any ideas? Thank you verey much!

Lupus, Hep C, osteoarthritis, fibromylaghia , and TIA s and heart palps. Tske Metroprolol, and some nutrional Physician pills, Sentra AM, Sentra PM, Theramine, Percura (for the neuropathy), and also now started P Darco pills, and use the tea when I feel like I need it. Helps. I try and eat good, and have a sweet tooth. Trying to curb that, but it is difficult. Just wondered what this sore throat could possibily be, and where to start looking for answers Oh and there is a complex cyst in my thyroid that hasn t been checked,. so obiviously I am getting appt. for the sore throat, and will look into thyroid. Wish I knew doctors in this area that were into the more natural treatments, like biomedicals, etc. Do you know any in this are you could recommend? I live in Kingman, AZ.
