Question: I have a fluttering sensation in the area of my right kidney, sometimes also on the left side.

Detailed Answer:
It is difficult to comment unless I exactly know what you mean by ' area of my Right kidney'. For us as Doctors it is the area around the lowermost rib on the back. Kidneys usually do not cause any fluttering sensation, however they may cause pain in that area, if they are inflamed or there is a blockage in urinary flow.

The sensation can be also caused by issues with your spine or posture causing the nerves originating from the spine to get compressed.

A simple urine examination and an ultrasound of the kidneys can rule out any issues with your kidneys.
