Maybe carpal tunnel syndrome!

Detailed Answer:


This is suggestive of a disease condition known as carpal tunnel syndrome. This occurs as the nerve traveling to the thumb and middle fingers are compressed. Symptoms are most severe in this area. I recommend you get evaluated and managed for this.

In the time being, you may want to use a splint, mostly at night to avoid twisting the arm which often provokes symptoms. Other conditions such as thyroid hormone levels and functioning should be checked.
