What can cause rashes around neck and back after taking steroid teardrop for viral conjunctivitis?

Hi, I was diagnosed with viral conjunctivitis yesterday and given an antibiotic/steroid teardrop. Thus morning I am experiencing a rash around my neck and mouth area.
