Dear Friend.
Hi , I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.

For our best help and support you have to explain us that what problem are you facing actually? What do you mean by saying "Clean my whole colon out"
Are you feeling constipated? Or Have problem with the Colostomy bag (in case it is there)?
Also, please explain that when your surgery was done in 2011, was any colostomy done and a bag was fitted at that time?
Are you carrying that bag? And you have problems with it?

Please ask in detail, that you have problem with Constipation or with the Colostomy bag and what problem you are facing and what medications you are on.
We would be very glad to answer you :)

This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any query you may please ask me.

Brief Answer:
Detail Follows.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
After this kind of surgeries, usually there is a feeling of fullness, however, the fullness is not there.
Understand this with an example, suppose you have a plastic bag, and you fill it with 2 liters of water. Now, you cut the bag and reduce it's size, the bag would get tensed with only 1.5 liters of water.
This is what is happening with you.
I advise you following:
1. To take frequent small meals instead of large meals.
2. If you feel constipated you might take Lactulose with consultation from your primary doctor.
3. Take more of fruits, green leafy vegetables.

Change in Life style and dietary habits is only going to help you the best.

If you have any further query, please ask me.
