What Are These Rashes All Over The Thighs And Penis With Occasional Itching?
Question: hi can you tell me what these rashes are ? let me give you full breakdown of what I've done. march 1st I had sex an escort. protected vaginal sex and unprotected oral both giving and receiving. Got really paranoid about stds so I took testing march 19th. I got herpes one and 2. hiv 4th gen, gonnereah and syphilis. tricamanoisis, chlamydia and hep b test. got all negative except herpes 2 which was equivocal igg of 1.02 and a negative igm. negative igm and igg for herpes 1. took a herpes 2 test march 26th and got equivocal again of 1.01. so then march 30th I took a pcr blood dna test for herpes and got negative. then at 9 weeks took an igg again and got negative. I've been having an ON and off urge to pee as well. some pain in the abdomen as well. I took an oraquick home kit hiv test at 9 weeks and got negative. then all of sudden I got this rash on my inner thighs. outer thighs and it's on my penis. it's not painful but it itches occasionally. I saw a dermatologist who though it was dermatitis and assured me it wasn't herpes or warts. she did a skin scrape to test for fungus and scabbies and that was negative. I've been applying elidel cream and hydrocortisone for about 5 days but no real help. I've had this rash for a week now. any thoughts ?
Brief Answer:
Eczematous dermatitis
Detailed Answer:
Thank you.
I have viewed the images.
Seems like eczematous dermatitis. I suggest you to apply a moderately potent topical steroid e.g either mometasone furoate 0.1 %cream Or triamcinolone acetonide 0.1 %cream, twice daily.
In addition to this you may take a tab cetrizine 10mg once daily for symptomatic relief from itching. These are prescription medications and I advice you to talk to your local practitioner for a prescription of the same.
