Brief Answer:
5 months.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having glandular fever.

Glandular fever, viral one, self limiting, needs antibiotics (tonsillitis) for complications. An infected person can transmit EBV during this period and for as long as five months after symptoms disappear.

Can be prevented by wash your hands often and avoid sharing drinks and eating utensils with others.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
