What are the symptoms of flu?

Question: I am from South XXXXXXX visiting in Chigago .I have flu.Know running nose only coughing badly don't stop.As from the flu I am deaf in my right ear.I am only using Mucinex morning and night time.I was on Lerika but stop using it think I have a problem taking it and any flu medication .

Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your problem.
I can understand the problem many people face on using flu medicines.
The best for you would be to carry on with your MUCINEX and in addition start taking steam inhalation 2-3 times a day.
Avoid cold drinks and drink hot liquids.
You may add an anti allergic Benadryl capsule in the night which will not cause any botheration in day time.
For bodyache or fever you can take Tylenol.
You should be all right in next 4-5 days.

Can I take Mucinex for the next week ?The mucus that is coming out is dark green or looks like light Brown.Can I use Acc from SA.It is only a vitamin for cols and flu.

Yes you can carry on with MUCINEX for next week also.
You may take ACC also but do take steam inhalation which would be very useful for you.
