Cystistis is manifested by lower abdominal pain, frequent urination, burning sensation during and after passing urine and fever.
Symptoms remain nearly the same whether it is kleb, E.coli or something else.
The cause is diagnosed by culture of urine.

If the organism is found to be sensitive to nitrofurantoin then it is a good drug for cystitis but if the flora is a resistant one then it may not response.
In that case the antibiotic should be decided by a local physician.
