Question: I had some exposure 7-8weeks ago that I had done p24 antigen test and 4thgeneration test at 19days while on pep then did a hiv pcr 6days after pep completion all negative. and I had been advised that you and several doctors that I was indeed negative. with full blood count that was advised by my doctor as okay. But now I observed some reddish bump kind of pimple or rash at my upper back inbetween. Is this symptom ? please advise as my panic triggered all over...

- Please don't worry for your HIV status. As we had discussed earlier it is negative by PCR. PCR is the high sensitive and specific test for HIV and its report is considered to be confirmative.

- So for your peace of mind, forget about exposure incidence, delete such a incidence from your memory. You are HIV negative that is for sure by PCR report.

- This lesion not looks like HIV rash. It is looks like pimple. You can take the Tab Doxycycline 100 mg two times a day for 7 days under your doctors guidance.

Usually what type of infection could it be? Am just worried. Now I have taken first dose of the antibiotics and its heavy or sort of headache and drowsiness.
