Yoga helps bust stress and improve heart health

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

Breathing techniques (called as XXXXXXX in yoga) is a very good stress relieving technique in yoga. Since it reduces stress and also has many other beneficial effects, it helps reduce the heart attacks. The other effects of XXXXXXX on heart and vessels include reduced lipid levels, raised blood cells, improved lymphocyte levels, improved blood sugar levels, reduced blood pressure, improved blood circulation, improve collateral circulation and improved heart health.

Pranayam in yoga helps regularising the breathing pattern. You must have noticed that stress and anxiety cause rapid breathing, which leads to bad effects on health. Pranayam and breathing techniques help normalize the breathing pattern and reduce the ill effects of disordered breathing.

Yoga techniques for heart attacks. There are many yoga techniques that can be done. But to start with you will need to do it lightly and within your capacity. Shavasana (corpse pose) in which you lie on your back with your arms on your side and your eyes closed is very relaxing. You nidra is also good to relax. Neck rotations, arm rotations, hip rotations, and leg movements if done within limits are also good in improving circulation and even out the prana.

Nowadays all this is available as part of a 5 day Happiness program of Art of living.

Hope it helps.
