Brief Answer:
Take treatment as advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
If you are suspecting to be a contact of meningococcal meningitis, then a single dose 500 mg of ciprofloxacin should be taken rather than prosxaflo.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Brief Answer:
Take treatment as advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Ciprofloxacin is best and is required in a single dosing.

Alternatively, rifampicin 600 mg for 2 days (4 doses) and inj ceftriaxone can be taken.
