What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Lymphoma?

default
Posted on Mon, 18 Jul 2016
Question: I was told I may have lymphoma, after a CT of the abdomen revealed enlarged nodes. That being said, my question is actually about my fevers. For the last 4 years, I've been getting fevers a couple of times a week. Usually they are not higher than 101.6. But occasionally, like my last one, it was as high as 102.6. Oddly, I know I have a fever when my fingers feel freezing cold and then my fingers start to feel number. Have you ever herd of anything like this? Do you know why it would happen? I had a Doctor tell me that my unexplained fevers are ridiculous and the digital thermometer is not reliable. Yet when I take my temperature when I don't have the "finger" symptoms my temp is normal.

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. I would like to review the CT scan

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the details provided. I appreciate your concern. Well if you have measured temp of 101.6 degrees it can not be just a thermometer error. You must be feeling warm and hot sensation at the time of fever that i must presume. You can check it by a mercury thermometer. Moreover, do you have any weight loss or night sweats?
These symptoms can be explained by a slow growing lymphoma. I would like to review your CT scan.
If it is not lymphoma, then autoimmune diseases can give rise to off and on fever as you also have history of numbness and paresthesias in fingers.
Please revert back with the CT details.
Thanks and regards

I did find out recently that I had an autoimmune disorder, and am getting IGG infusions every 3 weeks. How would I get you the scan? Go to the place I had the scan and get a cd/DVD or the report?
