Question: My father is taking 9 meds. from different doctors. I'd like to know about any negative side affects he's experiencing due to these multiple prescriptions. Here is the list: trazodone hcl 100mg, pyridostigmine bromid 60mg, prednisone 5mg, bupropion xl 150mg, hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10-325 t,trazodone hcl 100mg, tramadol 50mg, levoloxacin 500mg, simvaste 40mg. Last year he was told he has myasthenia gravis. His health physically and mentally have saverly gone down hill. I believe his doctors aren't communicating with each other on this matter. Two private and multiple V.A. doctors. I need help to get to the facts. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
All these drugs may cause lot of adverse effects, provide more information.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
I appreciate your concern for your father.

Your father has been given a large number of medicine from different group with similar kind of action like acetaminophen/hydrocodone and tramadol and a antibiotics like Levofloxacin.

In my opinion you should tell in detail to both the doctors about all the medicines he is taking. So that doctor can take a call for better combination of drugs, because all these medicines may affect gastrointestinal, liver, kidney and neurological function if taken for longer period of time.

If you can provide me following details, I will be able to tell you more accurately.
what all symptoms he is having?
Since how long he is taking all these 9 medicines?
If he has undergone any investigation, than please upload me reports.

Please write back to me with all these details so that I will tell you more precisely.
Best wishes
