Question: Can the drug erythromycin have any adverse effect on the brain and nervous system?

There are no reported side effects of erythromycin that have an adverse effect on the brain.
Some of the reported side effects such as nausea and pain may be a result of some response of the nervous system but these side effects are temporary and should resolve once the drug is stopped.
If there is a neurologic condition after taking erythromycin it would probably be due to some other cause and not due to the drug
