Brief Answer:
It's safe, no long lasting side effects

Detailed Answer:
Hello
I appreciate your concern for your daughter
You can give her colimax df 8 to 10 drops thrice daily until she relieves of colics.

It's safe drug, it may cause diarrhoea or vomiting other than that it doesn't causes any long lasting side effects.

Apart colimax df drops you must burp her after every feed
you can also lie her in prone position in the bed.
you should give her exclusive breastfeeding.

She had been consistent with feeds but prefers shorter feeds. She does not sleep much during day time also. I am concerned as I read that colimex drops affect the liver of the baby. Pls address this concern of mine as I am worried.

Brief Answer:
It's safe when used for short period of time with controlled doses

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Colimax may affect liver when it is used for prolong period and regularly in high doses

Colimax DF is an ayurvedic preparation, it has very less side effects on long term use.

You need not to worry its safe when used after consulting doctor and used from short period of time.

Since she is just 2 and half months old as she grows, she will develop healthy and functional intestine and you might not require to give her colimax further.

Hope this answers your question

So Sir you would recommend me using colimex df at least twice a day till her colic stops?? Also about her not sleeping throughout the day. What do u suggest? She barely sleeps 12 hrs in the whole day which is from night till noon and does not sleep at all during the day

Brief Answer:
Colimax doesn't induce sleep

Detailed Answer:
Hello
You need not to worry; she is too young and it's normal with small kids of her age
Her sleep may vary from 12 to 16 hours a day.
Colimax is advisable only in case if she is crying a lot and having abdominal discomfort, not to make her sleep as it doesn't contain any sedative.

I will suggest you to give her exclusive breastfeeding, timely immunisation and better care
Make her bed very comfortable to sleep, just make sure she is getting adequate feed.

Hope this answers your question
