What Are The Side Effects Of Azaron?

Question: I ad a problem of low platelets count probably due to two attacks of malaria in 3 weeks. Doctors told me I had ITP and put me on Steroid. Staring with 60 mg per day ( 20 mg trice a day ). The platelets would rise but will be lowered after some time and I was given additional medicine which affected my haemoglobin. I was then put on AZARON 50 3 tablets at night for the past 5 months.

I have problems with my knee joint pain as well as tiredness in the evening. When I sit for about an hour in chair or in car and when I get up I have pain in my joints and lower back. I am advised to take cacium 500 mg everyday and B12 tablets 1500 mg. B12 I tool for 20 days regularly and now I take one tablet once a week. I have been advised to take this dosage for 12 months

Could this be due to AZARON side effect ? How do I overcome this problem ? Kindly advise.

I have studied your case.
Yes these side effects can be due to azaron and also due to high dose of steroid which you have previously taken.

For this take calcium and vit D supplement in good amount.
You are taking calcium so start vit D also.
Yes B12 supplement needs to be continued for longer duration.

Do regular knee exercises.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and TENS may help.
Many of my patients get relief by yoga pranayama and XXXXXXX XXXXXXX so you can also do that.

You can take cap uprise D3 60k once in week for 2 months.

Daily 10 min morning sun bath will help to increase vit D synthesis naturally.
