Brief Answer:
Bleeding, pain , infection, spread of tumor, calmn

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,

It really do not think you need to be that nervous. If he has planned for the surgery, it means your clotting profile with the tests already done is reassuring, so no serious risk of bleeding.

The second complication which is that of infection shall depend mainly on the antibiotics that shall be given before the surgical procedure and proper cleanliness practice guidelines that shall be employed during the surgical procedure, for which you really not bother much, for most surgeons today are very conscious of such aseptic techniques.

The third complication is that of a spread of the tumor after removal. If the decision has been made to do surgery, for sure proper planning has also been made for you to undergo radiotherapy and maybe hormonotherapy to ensure that the cancer does not spread to other areas of the body.

Pain after surgery is common, but easily managed with pain killers, anti inflammatory drugs and at times radiotherapy and some anti cancer drugs.

I do not really think you need to be that nervous. Programming for a graft is already very reassuring, especially with regards to any potential bleeding in your case. Being on Warfarin and deciding to go in for surgery, means the clotting profile has been properly checked.

I do not think you need to bother that much, Be positive and stay calm. Kind regards as I wish you good health.
