If there is no pain on swallowing anything, then the pin is most probably not in the throat.
If you are sure that you have swallowed the only the following things can confirm its presence in the throat/esophagus or so:
X-ray of the neck, chest and abdomen. Take the sample stapler pin with you to be kept on the film for comparison.
Take to the warden/caretaker of the hostel you stay in. She will assist you further about taking to the nearby hospital if required.
Watch for any other symptoms and let your care-taker know.
I can understand how difficult it is to be in the hostel and undergo such problems.
