Question: Hello Doctor, I've got another question. What is the first aid if you got accidentally overdose of using crystal met? I drink lots of water but it's not working. I end my self to the emergency hospital . My blood pressure go up to more than 200 over 125. Can I still drink water with salt to divert the effect of drugs even if my blood pressure is that high?

Any blood pressure beyond 140-160 should be treated with medication and salt should be restricted. If blood pressure goes up to 200 mmhg, it is a medical urgency and should be attended by medical professional immediately.

The idea of water intake and slight salt intake is applicable for those who have stopped taking meth and likely to go for some drug screening. It should be avoided if you are still taking meth.

Regarding the first aid the most important thing for meth overdose, alike all other over dosage, is maintenance of Airway, breathing and circulation. In addition the further intake should be stopped. Vital signs of the individual should be monitored which includes blood pressure, pulse, respiration and temperature.
