What Are The Repercussions Of Accidental Ingestion Of Easi Breathe Softgel Capsule?

Question: Hi doc...i have swallowed easi breathe inhalant capsule by mistake an hour back..which is meant only for external use. Is there any side effects of that..? or what is an immediate effect or action to be taken for prevention? What are its effects on body? Is that safe on body?

Hi,

Please do not worry about single cap accidental intake. They get digested by stomach acids. EASI BREATHE has eucalyptus oil, menthol, camphor etc which are non toxic substances.
THere may not be any immediate or long term affects.
Just increase water intake to emit out the metabolites of the medicines quickly out of the body.
Alternatively you can also take ACTIVATED CHARCOAL, one tablet to reduce the absorption of the inhalant capsule. THey are available in any pharmacy.

Thanks doc.. i wl go with water intake..also i took gasex tablets while taking that , so i think charcoal is not required. After hw mch time can i take normal tea or food now?
