What Are The Repercussions Of Alendronate Overdose?
Question: cost?
I have taken alendronate previously and told that I had taken the prescribed limit. My new doctor has ordered again and said there is no limit. After reading the instructions and really don't think it wise to take?

My "cost?" was what it would cost to get an answer.
I guess I wasn't very clear on my question.
1. After reading the directions and the side effects I was concerned with the effect it would have on me. Directions are very complicated. I have not had any problems with my bones up to this point...never had a fracture etc. Why should I take this drug?
2. Is there a limit on alendronate? My previous doctor stopped my prescription after 5 years. My current doctor says there is no limit on how long you take the drug.
I would appreciate clarification. Seems like I'd be better off without alendronate?

Detailed Answer:
Pardon me for not getting the query correctly last time. I presume that the cost has already been deducted prior to your asking the question. However, I would ask the customer care team to get in touch with you to discuss about the pricings and plans.
1. Alendronate inhibits osteoclast-mediated bone-resorption. It is commonly used and usually no side effects are observed. You need not worry about the same.
2. As such there is no limit but after 5 years of taking the medicine you can take a break. You may go through:
