What Are The Possible Side Effects Of Taking Singulair For Asthma?
Question: What has been your experience with prescribing Singulair for asthma? How effective have you found this drug to be and would you say side effects are minimal? I am concerned about side effects even though my internist claims they are minimal.

Sigulair is a very popular drug used in the treatment of asthma and other allergic conditions.
In my practice I use it for almost all cases of asthma with very good results.
As far as side effects are concerned, theoretically it does have some side effects like fever, cough, headache, nausea etc but in practice I have hardly ever encountered any significant side effects.
So my advice to you is that do not worry about the side effects and continue taking it.
