Question: It has been suggested to me that I be evaluated for adult asperger's syndrome. What indications would there be that this might be advisable?

The history of social isolation and difficulty establishing close relationships can be marked as the top indication for evaluation for Asperger syndrome that is part of autism spectrum disorder ASD. Another indication would be a failure to respond to treatments for generalized anxiety disorder, OCD, & PTSD.
