I have random dull body aches and pains that feel like strain, although i do not know how i would have put that on myself. My symptoms get worse only if i fixate on them - although when busy i feel fine and normal

Hi
Thanks for using Hcm.
Cancers in broad for explanation is a very vast topic.
There are various cancers, spreading, nonspreading, benign, involving almost all the organs of the body.
Loss of weight, severe loss of appetite, hair loss, anaemia, non healing wounds and ulcers, recurrent fever and infections, bony pains, recurrent fractures, headaches, family history, hereditory inherited cancers, bleeding disorders, recurrent pain abdomen with involvement of liver, pancreas, altered sugars are some of the generalised signs.
Although manyof the above signs mimic other viralfevers, chronic infections, chronic diabetes, tuberculosis etc
At your age of eighteen you do not have to think of all such cancers, usually uncommon.
Maybe you are suffering from simple viral or bacterial infections, stress,or anxiety related symptoms, calcium deficiency or any thyroid variations.
Kindly evaluate for the same.
Hoping my explanation can be of help to you.

Is recurrent tonsillitis a sign of cancer?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Sabiha Banu (4 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Chronic tonsillitis--not a sign of cancer

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for following up with HCM.
Recurrent tonsillitis is not a sign of cancer.
It can cause all infective generalised symptoms like fever, myalgia, weight loss, recurrent throat infection and weakness.
The best treatment for chronic tonsillitis is tonsillectomy,to remove the foci of infection and prevent the complications.
But other possible streptococcal infections leading to other organ involvement should be ruled out.
I suggest you to consult an expert ENT surgeon, regarding this issue.
Do not worry and stress yourself into medical depression,as chronic tonsillitis can be treated with permanent solutuion.
Hoping to see you get well soon.
Please be free to get back to me for any other details/query.
All the best take care.
