What Are The Different Means Of HIV Transmission?

default
Posted on Tue, 24 Nov 2015
Question: I had unprotected sex with a massage parlor woman for a duration of 20-25seconds.. Thts bcoz I went there for massage didn't know nything more than oral sex would be allowed.

It was first time.. After 5-10mins of rigorous by the woman.. I asked whether I could hv sex with her.. She kept saying it wasn't allowed.. But as I couldn't ejaculate so she allowed me to do it. I only got 20-25secinds as time was up and I still could ejaculate.

I washed my genital.. Then upon reaching home again.. Washed my genital..

Later upon googling I found out about how std's n hiv transmit. Got freaked out n constantly remained under fear for coming few days .

2 days later developed pinkish rash on my face around nose and forehead.. Plus 6 weeks prior to this incident every morning upon waking up I had a running nose and needing problem for a few hours then it went away only to come back next morning. This continued after the parlor incident too till this day.

Rash didn't go away till 1 whole week.. Then at 2nd week it became more itchy.. I went to a doctor on 3rd week.. He gave eumosone m to apply twice a day, candida to apply on genital as it had pink dots on its head and 1 flucanozole tablet.

This rash kept coming back after i stopped applying eumosone n until 10th week from the incident.

I also had a mouth ulcer which remained for 6 days on my tonsil.

Today it's been 85 days(12 weeks) since the incident and I got tested for vdrl.. Hep b and his rapid (hiv1 and hiv2) on 11th week. All were Non-Reactive.

So my question is there any chance I'm not infected by hiv? It has been very depressive and terrifying 12 weeks for me.

Please forgive me for such a lengthy post but I wanted everything to be clear. I've discussed all this only with my doctor.

So is it possible I'm hiv negative? I'll test myself again at 6 weeks.. And should I go for ELISA test too?

Brief Answer:
HIV unlikely but test recommended.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concern and situation.

I would suggest that you need not be too worried and HIV is unlikely. I would suggest you to take 4 th generation ELISA test at 12 weeks as it is a better and conclusive evidence of HIV test and not the rapid test. I would suggest you to get HSV 1 and 2 test done. Also get oral ulcer/lesion swab collection done and get tested for gram staining and culture sensitivity test done for bacterial and fungal infections. I would like to rule out any drug resistant bug. Get complete haemogram done. Maintain the oral and body hygiene using chlorhexidine oral gargle and body wash. Apply lignocaine jelly if oral lesion is painful. Stay in follow up. Treatment will be based on investigation results.

Hi Dr. XXXXXXX
This is my current haemogram report. 12 weeks (n 2 days after the incident). ELISA, HSV1 and HSV2 test would come back in a few days. I just hope I'm not infected.

I forgot to mention in the very first post, tht after body massage it was 5-10mins of rigorous oral sex (I was the receiver here) after which I idiotically had unprotected sex for 20-25 seconds without ejaculating. Should have re-read my posts, too many mis spells.

Sorry for tht mam.
I just hope I'm not infected by hiv. Though the rash today very mildly has started coming back around my nose. It happened previously in these 12 weeks whenever I stopped applying eumosone m for a day or two. Today it has been 11 days since I last used eumosone m as my doctor said me to apply it the least possible no of times.

Brief Answer:
Attach the report again.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

The report has not been attached. Do not worry and let us wait for the results. Do not think too much about what has happened in the past. As far as rash is concerned I would suggest you to change your soaps and face wash. Yes apply medicine as least as possible. Avoid touching the lesion with hands. Avoid stress, spicy and oily food. It is possible that it could be an allergic rash. You can visit a dermatologist for evaluation of rash.
