you may need to see another doctor for the same

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I am sorry that you are having withdrawals due to stopping the pain medicines cold turkey.

I am sorry but there is no way you can get a prescription for the same online.

I would suggest you to try this doctor in Roseburg; perhaps he could help you with the medicines.

Dr. XXXXXXX B. XXXXXXX DO
Specializes in Pain Medicine

Roseburg, OR 97470

Why were all the medicines stopped cold turkey? Can you get back to the same doctor for a re-assessment of your pain?

Hope this bit of information helps.

Brief Answer:
Seeking counselling is a better option too

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Thanks for writing back. I understand what you are going through and empathize with you.

Seeking counselling is a better option for management of chronic pain as it can help in dealing with the pain effectively and improve the quality of your life.

Just wait a little for the doctor to call, and if she does not, then probably you can request her to send you to counselling or prescribe medicines which could help with your pain.

Wish you well.

Regards,

Brief Answer:
better to go to the ER

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

If your withdrawals are getting unbearable, then it is better to go to the ER. You might require supportive treatment and medications for the same.

I understand that the withdrawals can be unbearable but this is the time where you need to help yourself.

It is wise to go to the ER now and explain them your medical history and pain medication history. You would probably be put on methadone, Buprenorphine, and/or Naloxone whichever is relevant in your case to combat the withdrawals.

With regards to the doctor's review, it is individual person's perception. It depends on how you communicate with the doctor. I suggested this doctor as he is quite experienced and closer to your location. Alternatively, you can try these two doctors but the distance might be a bit long.

Dr. XXXXXXX M. Fitzgerald, MD
Specializes in Pain Medicine • Female • Age 64
Oregon Medical Group Neurology
330 S Garden Way Ste 270 XXXXXXX OR 97401
(541) 228-3400 (Office)

For counselling and re-evaluation of your pain, you can consult the below doctor.

Dr. XXXXXXX D. Mendelson, MD
Specializes in Psychiatry • Male • Age 63
MERCY MEDICAL CENTER INC
2700 NW XXXXXXX Pkwy
Roseburg, OR 97471
(541) 677-4882 (Office)
(541) 677-1520 (Fax)

Both these doctors have excellent reviews.

Once your condition is stabilized, I suggest you to join self help groups and pain management groups that can help you cope with the pain effectively.

Wishing you speedy recovery.

Regards,
