Question: Hi... i am XXXXXXX My last periods date was 25th march 2015, and I didn t get my periods for this month, usually my menstrual cycle will be in 27days, but this time it is already 31days... I have regular period from last 6 months and I have done pregnency test on 24th april 2015 but negative . Can you tell me what could be the reason? and is there any pregnency chances?

Most common physiological reason for delayed periods is
- stress which can be professional or domestic
- acute diarrhea or fever
- missing meals over a long duration
- new exercise schedule
And there can be some pathology in pelvic organs and most common reason is ovarian cyst.

Since you have a negative pregnancy test the chance of pregnancy is almost negligible but in case you still want to be double sure wait for your periods for another week and in case still they don't happen then repeat a pregnancy test.
