Question: I am 57 years old with no period in the last 2 1/2 years. My gyno told me I could not get pregnant. I had unprotected sex 22 days ago and tested negative today with EPT test. My breasts are sore though and I am scared to death I am pregnant. I just went off of provera 10 mg two months ago and don't know if that is why my breasts could be hurting. How many days after sex can I be sure I am not pregnant if still testing negative.

Your symptom may be Provera withdrawal symptom.
You did not have period for so many months , so it is difficult to calculate, when your test should be positive for pregnancy after sex.
But if you are still in doubt , get you beta HCG test done.
