Brief Answer: Very less Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for your query. The chances of a sessile polyp being a malignant tumor is very less. Most of times such polyps are fibroids and most of the fibroids which are in the polypoid form are benign. It can only be confirmed by invasive biopsy or a histopathology test after removal of the polyp. Wish you good health. Regards,
