Brief Answer:
Chances of HIV is nil.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query.I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.

Welcome to health care magic.I have gone through the details and can make out your anxiety.

The chances of transmission of HIV by protected intercourse or hand job even with HIV positive person is nil.
You can allay fears of HIV.
The symptoms of sore throat may be due to simple respiratory infection due to respiratory contact with any person.Even skin rashes are non specific symptoms.
The chest pain may be due to gastritis.Eat well, relax, Take ranitidine , antacids chewable or syrups.
HIV antibodies tests are conclusive after 3 months.
At this stage you can go for HIV duo test or HIV 1&2 RNA PCR test, to releive your anxiety.
I do not see possibility of HIV transmission with the given description.

You can get back for any clarification.

Hi Doctor,

Thanks for your reply!

I have consulted ENT(not told about my exposure) and he suggested me to take omneprazole, allegra, betnesol tables for around 15 days.Seems like pharyngitis with oesophagitis when I searched in the Internet.

I'm getting afraid now as pharyngitis and oesophagitis can be the symptoms of HIV,will it last for around 1 month as these started after 5 days of my exposure?

I have also attached the images of skin peeling of my toes,Please have a look on to it as well.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

It may be due to allergy ,so antihistamine and steroid betnesol is given.
The peeling in feet may be due to dryness.Soak feet in warm water and apply salicylx cream in the night daily.
Do not worry and relate everything to HIV.

Hi Doctor,

Thanks for your reply,

I have attached some more pics of spots in my shoulders and skin peeling in my fingers.

Some times my both hands feels numb and today morning I was sweating when I wake up.

Now my sore throat is reduced but still pain is there under my arm pits when I press.

Also How I can identify swollen lymph nodes in neck?when I checked similar to XXXXXXX apple there is a similar hard projection below that is that normal or is it a swollen node?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Bharatesh Devendra Basti (2 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Not due to HIV.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.

The finger lesions may be due to dryness due to detergents/soaps.use cleanser like cetaphil or moisturising soap followed by moisturising creams like ponds cold cream.
The skin lesions may be due to allergy or any infestations or infections. Take antihistamine like cetrizine in morning and atarax in night.
You can get examined by a dermatologist for diagnosis if it does not subside. These do not suggest HIV.
The other symptoms are likely due to anxiety.Just relax, forget about the episode.
Do yoga, exercises.Get involved with activities of your interest.
Usually below XXXXXXX apple will be trachea, which feel hard.It is normal.

Lymph nodes (swellings) appear in the neck besides the central region i.e lateral to trachea. They too can appear even in simple respiratory infections.
In HIV the lymph nodes appear in more than 3 areas like neck, axilla, inguinal region, etc and remain persistent for more than 3 months. So do not worry about it

You can get back for any clarification.

Brief Answer:
Not due to HIV.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.

I have gone through the photos.
It is good that the rash has subsided.
Sore throat will subside. It may be due to viral infection or acid reflux. It does not suggest HIV.There is no characteristic symptoms of sore throat in HIV patients.
The rashes in the neck area is due to folliculitis.
If there are swellings which are felt than seen ,they may be due to lymph nodes. It may be felt in any infections like folliculitis or respiratory infection.
Lymphadenopathy in HIV patients is usually in more than 3 different areas, and persistent
for more than 1 month.I do not see this possibility.
It is not related to HIV.

Dear Doctor ,

I have pain in my under arms not sure it is because of lymph nodes also when I press my collar bones(supraclavicular lymph node) where I can feel small masses sliding under the skin with pain.

I am again planning to visit an ENT doctor to check whether the hard lumps in my neck is of lymph nodes or some cartilage bones

Also I have tingling sensation in both of my fingers and it will become numb more often.

I have dry lips and some parts are become brown in color
