Brief Answer:
The chances of congenital varicella syndrome is only 2%.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.

It is better for her that she will not conceive this month, though the chances of congenital infection are only 2%.

Chickenpox usually more dangerous when occur in 2 nd trimester of pregnancy.

This time if she will conceive then she should get her detailed ultrasound to see any congenital birth defects in baby.

She should continued with her treatment and avoid vaccination.

Hope found useful, feel free to ask more information.
Good luck.

Brief Answer:
She may continue if everything is fine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
I can understand your limitations.

So if baby is fine, she may continue but if she goes for abortion than you should wait at least 6 months to one year for next baby.

She should start taking folic acid.

Hope found useful.
Good luck.
