What Are The Adverse Effects Of Smoking Weed?

default
Posted on Tue, 2 Sep 2014
Question: I smoked some ribs with wood that had some grey/green mold on it. Not a lot but a thin coating in spots. I didn't really think about until some searching showed some potential risks mycological risks.

What is the risk associated with this? Do I need to take any immediate action?

Brief Answer:
Detail Follows.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
Smoking of any kind including wood or weeds is definitely associated with heart problems.
Only acute thing that can happen is severe spasm of your myocardial arteries leading to severe chest pain and heart attack.
If this doesn't occurs acutely then in long term a person can develop gradual bloackage of arteries leading to a myocardial damage and heart attack.
I would like to know:
1. Since when are you doing this activity? Or is it that you did this for the first time?
2. Any problems like chest pain you had after that?
3. Are you a regular smoker of nicotine?
4. Any other illness like diabetes or Hypertension you suffer from?
