What Are Chances Pregnancy With PCOS?
Question: my wife was facing irregular periods so we visited gynco and she advised for ultrasonic test of pelvic. The outcome was ,, she is having poly cystic ovary. Doctor told us that, due to this, she may take longer period for pregency as egg forming takes long time. My wife is under lot of stress as she worrying about not getting pregnant. Please advice me what are the chances of getting pregenents with PCOS. We are under gynaco observation.

1. PCOS is a condition also called Polycystic ovary in which there are numerous small follicles in the ovary.
2. This is associated with obesity,irregular periods and anovulation.
3. To get regular cycles she has to loose weight if she is obese.
4. Get drugs prescribed from your gyno to increase egg size and ovulate.
5. She needs to undergo frequent follicular growth scans to know exact time and date of ovulation so that you can have intercourse around that time to increase success.
6. You dont worry as you both are young and good chance of conception.

Thanks for your immediate reply.
Actually we are not ready for child but we are concerned that if we delay then we may be facing more problems when we will get ready for child.
Please suggest, shall we wait for some yrs or we shall think about baby.??
