i heard stem cell storage is quite common nowadays. i want to know:
=> the benefits of the same. i mean to ask what all diseases can be cured?

Cord blood stem cells have been used successfully to treat more than 70 different diseases, including some cancers, blood disorders, and immune deficiencies. Among these are leukemia, aplastic anemia, thalassemia, Hodgkin's disease, and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Cord blood transplants are also used to treat rare metabolic disorders that would otherwise be fatal for infants .
So, definitely they are worth. Not a gimmick.
Lifecell is probabaly the best because of their transport and storage is well organised .
