Waist size increasing. What should be done?

I am 42 years old , my trouser waist size is 32 and its keep on slightly incresing from 28 size in the past 2 years. Need your valuable points.

With an increase in age and changing food and activity patterns , the weight does increase. To keep your weight under control, I would suggest the following:
a.     Walk for 40-50 minutes daily
b.     Avoid junk food, , fruit juices, colas, fried food, refined food like suji etc
c.     Have atleast 1-2 servings of fruits and plenty of vegetables
d.     Use low fat milk and other dairy products
e.     Have a heavy breakfast and a light dinner
f.     Eat something small every 3-4 hours
