Brief Answer: Follows. Detailed Answer: Dear Madam, Thank you for posting your query on HCM. Well there can be a lot of causes of this kind of pain , where the spleen is located lot of other organs are also there like stomach , tail of pancreas , intestine etc. So , It cannot be said as to what organ is the culprit . It will require abdominal examintion to say anything . A USG examination is highly recommended to make any kind of diagnosis . Enlarged spleen in your father may be related to it or may be not .
