Hi,

I am dr XXXXXXX and I will try my level best to help you.

Your urine test show s 30 mg/dl is also known as +1 protein . Its is bit out of normal but it can be considered as "mild disease" which is not the end stage for kidney diseases but still considered as "mild kidney diseases" which may lead to kidney failure in future. No immediate risk of complete kidney failure as the complete kidney failure is consider if the urine protein goes above 300 mg/dl thats 10 times more than you are at currently.

Your triglycerides are bit high, as normal needs to be below 150 mg/dL but you are at 230 mg/dl. You will need medicine alone with diet control to get the number down.

Hope it helps. Feel free to contact me in case of further concerns.

Thanks for the query.

Hi,

Yes I would like to check the scan copy on the test you went through.
If possible you may upload it on the website as its way safer then my mail. Only I can access your report uploaded in this question.

If you are not able to upload the copy in this site, my email address is YYYY@YYYY and you may send the copy of those report along with the questions on this site.

I did looked at the copy of the image of the test, but every thing on that test looked normal as cholesterol was on the border line, but you can control it via a diet modifications.

Now the proteins should not be flushed out of the body, protein are essential for life. They are important, only the thing you need is to be carful about your diet, please reduce the fatty food/fried food, snacks, junk food.

Please feel free to contact me.

Hi,

Welcome back, I just got your results in my email.

Looking through you reports which you emailed me, it seems they used dip stick method for the analysis, and it about 90% reliable, and your result of most of the component are with in normal range. If I would be in your place I will only do two things 1) Change my diet from fried to baked food and 2) exercise and reduce the weight.

If you need my help in any of the above options I will be glad to help you in deciding what to have and your diet plan to help you back on track.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now about the protein in urine which says 30+, I would like you to check your urine 3 times and here is how you can do it at home.

Go to WWW.WWWW.WW and search for "Rapid Response 10 Parameter dip urine test " buy one on that, it has 100 strips, so you can test it as many times you want, COST for strips is less then 15 $, just buy the sterile container to collect urine from cvs/walgreens and need to follow the instructions written in the instruction manual that comes with the strips pack. This will save you a lot of money and help you to monitor your health yourself. Feel free to contact me on this website for any help with it. Try to collect mid stream urine for testing ( fill the container after have passed some urine first and take container away before ending peeing. Still if having any issues you may contact me.

I recommend you to take the urine test 3 times and consider the average to have a very safe result and change reliability to 95% accuracy.

Hope it helps. As always feel free to contact me.

Thanks again.

Hi,

Welcome back, let me answer you questions in order of appearance.

1) YES most of all is about with normal limits and your triglycerides are little bit over the top but can be controlled with the diet. As per my advice about having change in diet mostly compensate the bit high number I would like you to take control about your triglyceride level and you may check your level at home.

JUST go to walmart and grab one " CardioChek Triglycerides Test Strips " it will make you see what your triglycerides is and how much diet control helps. CardioChek Triglycerides Test Strips are strips that uses blood drop similar to that of diabetic glucose monitor.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now about your proteins in urine I want you to do three trial of urine check by your self as I explained above, do it at interval of 10 day each. If all of them shows +30 protein then you may need some steroid drugs and your kidney will return back to normal. But for the steroid drug prescription you need to consult local doctor. If nothing shows up in next urine test then every thing is fine, it may be just a simple error on diagnostic method ( to avoid such errors I recommend you to have atleast 3 sample test of urine).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2) As far as every thing else is showing on border but diet control along with exercise 15 min a day will help you feel better as well as in next physical you will see the difference.

Hope it helps, still as always contact me in case of need.
Thanks again
