Question: I have a strange problem because of which am unable to have sex. I am not sure if it is ED or something else. I do get an erection and many times it lasts for a long time (> 10 mins). However, as soon as anything touches the tip of my penis, the erection goes away in no time. I feel that my glans is over sensitive. Also, my foreskin is a little bit stiff and does not slide back easily over the glans when the penis is fully erect.
Is this a common problem? What can I do to overcome this?
I do not have any other medical problem (heart problem, BP, diabetes etc)

Brief Answer:
Tight foreskin cause erection problem.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
I appreciate your efforts for medical consultation in so much distress.

Important aspects of your query are:
•     29 year old male
•     Known case of allergy to dust and pollen
•     Complaints of: Erectile dysfunction and tight foreskin

Tight foreskin lead to sexual dysfunction in form of erectile dysfunction or pain during erection as it obstruct erection. It also lead to hypersensitivity of glans, as it is exposed due to the problem. Although most of the person able to perform masturbation comfortably even with this problem. It is not common problem, but one of the common cause of erectile dysfunction in medically normal persons.

Condition of having tight foreskin of penis called as phimosis. In most of the cases circumcision is required.

In mild cases conservative (Stretching exercise) is helpful.
Stretching method: You can either grab each side of the foreskin opening (with the foreskin forward) and gently pull on each side of the opening or, even better, insert the ends of two fingers, even the little fingers and pull them gently apart. Stretch the opening in this way until it feels uncomfortably stretched but not actually painful. Once again this is best done after soaking in a warm bath. You can use Vaseline for lubrication.

But Circumcision is best treatment option. Circumcision can be done at any age, even at your age too. It is very safe and easy procedure (take less then 5 Minute). You will have to wait only 1-2 week for sex after circumcision.

I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. In case of any doubt, I will be available for follow ups.

Wish you good health.

I am 31 years old and married for last 2 years. I am having phimosis. I have consulted physicians and they suggested surgery. But I was not very interested as I had never any problem with that and I wanted to avoid surgery. But recently I am feeling decline in sexual urge. It may be due to my job pressure as well, which has also contributed continuous back pain. I would also like to mention that I used to masturbate a lot. I am not sure if that has got any evil effect on me.

Please suggest on my problem.

My husband had a circumcision (he's 42) after phimosis all his life. It's been 8 months, and his glans are still too painful and sensitive to touch. He's says it feels like a toothache. I wonder if perhaps he had a low grade yeast infection under the foreskin for years going unnoticed. I read untreated yeast can grow rhizomes, and become more in the mold category, going under the top layer of skin in a woman's vagina, and having nearly no symptoms, other than vulva pain similar to what my husband is now describing. He has tried all pain meds for it, including ones for nerve pain. Suggestions on what this might be, other possibilities.... would be great.

Hello Sir ,

My Age is 27 years and I am doing the Masturbation since the age of 14. Now i have realized that the my penis foreskin is increased and it covered the penis cap also when it is normal condition. Is that because of masturbation and since last 4 years I have done intercourse with too many girls in africa and in India also . Is that increased foreskin will give me any problem in future when i will get married or is that normal while looking my age .

Frenulum Breve and treatment
I'm fifteen and my frenulum/ banjp string is short, I remember tearing it awhile back
. I could not forget that much pain. I went to my doctor after it naturally healed and now as I get a erection it hurts and is causing discomfort. especially if i trrty to pull the foreskin back also if I try and lay it out flat when flaccid it bends and this ia concerning me greatly, my doctor said to wait till I was sixteen and that's in less then half a year. I have been researching some treatments like frenulumplasty and stretching and circumcision, I am wanting a referral to a urologist/specialist to see their opinion but I don't know if shell give me it, so will I have to wait a few more months or can I get it now since I've been waiting for over a year! and what treatments are available. can I chose a procedure such as frenulumplasty or circumcision first? or will I have to do stretching exercises? I highly doubt the exercises will work considering it broke before and I had to let it naturally health since I was to embarrassed to tell anyone... I need answers...

how long must I wait for a referral?
how do I ask for one?
and what will the specialist likely do first? exercises then surgury or can I chose surgury straight of the bat and pick which one I want and need??
