Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to us,
I would like to inform you that extraction is the only treatment for an impacted wisdom tooth,
In your case, it is associated with symptoms like pain, therefore a thorough dental check up is needed prior to extracting it.
Also, in order to relieve symptoms like pain and swelling, your dentist will prescribe antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication if needed.
I hope I have answered your query,
Feel free to post any related questions for me,
I wish you good health,
Take care.
