Hi XXXXXXX ,

Thanks for writing in.

Could you please elaborate on your symptoms.

1. Do you have recurrent episodes of cold and headache?
2. This present episode of cold and headache has been present for how many days?
3. Where exactly is the headache? Right side / left side, region above the eyebrows or at the sides. Is the headache worse on bending forwards or lying down?
4. Any associated cough , sorethroat or fever?
5. Any history of smoking?

Kindly get back to me with the above details.

In the meantime , drink warm water at regular intervals .
Steam inhalation 3 times a day will also help.

To prevent recurrence of exposure to dust, you could use a mask or a slightly damp cloth to cover the nose and mouth, especially if you are travelling on a bike or dusting your house.

Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
