Trazodone side effects on heart , are they reversible?

Hello XXXXX,

Thanks for posting on XXXXXXX

Trazodone has few cardiac/heart side effects such as orthostatic hypotension and syncope and both are totally reversible as they can resolve on their own.
Other side effects are blurred vision, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, fatigue, headache, nausea, constipation, edema, confusion, disorientation etc Well do inform your doctor if you notice any of those effects as they are considered serious.

Hope this helps and wish you the best.

Pain in the chest, shoulder and arm as side effects of trazodone, are they reversible too?
Answered by Dr. Nsah Bernard 2 hours later

Well even though chest, shoulder and arm pain are not really known side effects of trazodone, it is possible that they can be reversed if trazodone is discontinued but if after discontinuing, you still have the same symptoms, it will be best to consider seeing a doctor to take a proper look at the symptoms. They might be caused by something else rather than the trazodone.

Hope this helps further
