Taking Eltroxin 150 Mg Since 3 Years. What Are The Side Effects?
Question: my wife taking eltroxin of 150 mg since 3 years as per doctor suggestion.what is its bad effects

Eltroxin contains Levothyroxin sodium.
Its maintenance dose is 100 to 200 mcg per day.
Due to Hypothyroidism, thyroxin is not produced in sufficient quantity in your wive's body. Thus it is given to prevent bad effects of low thyroxin level.
If she will take it in proper dose, there should not be any bed effects.
About 1% patients may feel some side effects only.
