Question: I wrote last night. After painful use of ducolax twice.
Dr ordered a second abdominal series. Called to tell me use fleet enema. I got the mineral oil.
Only one third to 1/2 of total went in. Have retained, but no action. Little pain

Hi,
As you are unable to pass stools, there are to possibilities, either the stool has become very hard due to prolonged stay or there is hardly anything to come out.
If its the first case, i will recommend that you take the enema once more to soften the stools further to help it pass out.
Also take levosulpride tablets 25 mg twice a day, in consultation with your doctor, to improve the intestinal motility and help in easy evacuation.
