Brief Answer:
pregnancy should not be continued after medical abortion

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
It is not advisable to continue pregnancy once you have taken medical abortion by mifepristone and misoprostol.
It is so because misoprostol is known to cause congenital anomalies in the fetus, if the pregnancy continues after taking misoprostol.
Misoprostol is known to cause Moebius syndrome in the fetus which consists of several cranial nerve dysfunction.
You should terminate pregnancy only if you are sure that you do not want to continue with the pregnancy.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

U didn't understand my question. As it was neither mifepristol nor mesoprestol but it was unwanted 72 I.e.levonorgestrel 1.5 mg. Now I want proper advice. Is there any risk of continuing pregnancy? What side effects can occur? I want a final opinion, as I am also a gynaecologist

Brief Answer:
Can continue pregnancy

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Sorry for the wrong interpretation.
Unwanted 72 or levonorgestrel has no effect on the fetus or developing pregnancy and there is no contraindication to continue the pregnancy after its intake.
Levonorgestrel effects the ovulation, and hence prevents pregnancy.
However, once the pregnancy has established , it has no shown to have any adverse effects on the pregnancy or fetus.
So, one can safely continue with the pregnancy.
Hope I have explained clearly this time.
