Suggest Ways To Rule Out Arthritis

Question: Everyday I feel like I have a terrible case of the flu. When I get up from sitting down, I cant hardly move and I ache all over constantly 24/7 and my joints constantly ache. Not sure if this is arthritis, but I have tried every natural product possible. I have taken 2 aleve for years and it doesn't even work anymore. What do I have and what can I do to help myself, because I am going on a trip to visit my son and I want to feel good to be able to do things with him, because even walking is a chore.
Thank you, Lori

Brief Answer:
What medications are you on?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

This seems like the side effect of a medication. If you are on medications, kindly report the list to me for review and guidance. If this is not caused by medications, we can look at other causes of generalized muscle pain such as fibromyalgia and muscular dystrophy.

Let me hear from you. If no cause is immediately identified, I can assure you we would recommend a drug that can effectively control pain while investigations continue to get the exact cause of this.

I hope this guides. I wish you well. Feel free to oop back so that I can stay abreast with what's unfolding your end.

Brief Answer:
I’ll recommend further testing!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Your medications seem unlikely to provide a lead toward the cause of your pain. I will suggest that you see a rheumatologist for further testing. I will recommend that blood levels of myoglobin should be evaluated. Also, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome should be considered and ruled out.

Keep me posted about this.
