Please refer to the detailed answer below

Detailed Answer:
Hello

After going through to the medical details and reports provided by you of your father i would like to tell you that all the reports attached by you all almost normal except for the lipid profile which is slightly deranged. If it was done 6 months back you can repeat a lipid profile test and if the results have got more deteriorated then medicine to lower the lipid levels has to be started.

The blood pressure range which you have mentioned here is high and it need to be lowered down by either increasing the dose of the medicine or by adding another anti hypertensive medicine.

If he has been prescribed with 40mg why he is taking half dose. Its advisable to continue with the dose which has been prescribed by the doctor as his blood pressure is on the higher side.

The ideal blood pressure range for an adult should be less than 140/90mmHg.

I hope this information will guide you properly.

Kind Regards

Thanks for your detail answer. In the Prescription doctor mentioned to take half tablet as attached in the screenshot Father_prescription.jpeg.
As Suggested we would repeat lipid profile test to check and proceed accordingly.
Wanted to Confirm whether Ideal blood pressure would vary as per as age as my father age is 70 does this ideal blood pressure would be applicable for my father?.
